To all of our members who currently have a loan with ASCU and are affected by the negative effects brought on by the sequestration, we want you to know that you have options with us. Many of you may have your hours cut at minimum, or at maximum, you may have lost your job. If so, please contact us personally at any one of our branch locations, or call us toll free at 800-752-6394 so that we can help you find a temporary solution until your financial condition improves.
We are all affected by this situation in one way or another – some worse than others. We are part of this community and will do whatever possible to help out. At American Southwest Credit Union, we are your locally owned credit union – and we’re here to help!
Some American Southwest Credit Union Visa Debit card holders are experiencing an increase in fraudulent out-of-state charges at various merchants. Based on a particular transaction’s limitations, cardholders may receive a courtesy phone call from the Fraud Department at Visa Inc. to verify any suspicious transactions. ASCU would like to remind our valued members to update their current phone number, frequently check their accounts for any suspicious activity and report it immediately to any of our seven branches. Any Member Service Representative would be happy to assist you in reporting the activity and recovering the funds.
You can now enroll in Bill Pay from the comfort of your own home. Under the Bill Payment tab in Anytime Online Home Banking you will see a new link titled ‘Enroll for Bill Payment’, click that link and follow the prompts to enroll.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call our Member Service Representatives at
(520) 459-1860 or (800) 752-6394.
